• In 2004 he launched and managed Microsoft Romania’s business solutions division – Microsoft Dynamics;
• He then launched Central Europe On-Demand in Romania, CE Europe’s largest “software as a service” operator;
• In 2011 he has joined the PayU team as Business Strategist
• Starting November 2011, he is Country Manager PayU Romania, being responsible with the development of local business.

Mihai has 9 years experience in IT sales and has joined PayU 6 years ago. He specializes in eCommerce and online sales and is responsible with management of the sales force and building and implementing sales strategy.

 Elena Gheorghe, Finance Manager

Elena Gheorghe, (Chartered Accountant in Romania and A.C.C.A. student) has experienced various industries during the eight years in finance, out of which, five spent in financial audit services, half of them accomplished at Deloitte – second player from The Big Four Network in providing Professional Financial Services.

Elena joined the PayU team in 2011 and ensures the Company’s financial performance in order to achieve short and long term objectives set by the business strategy. She is also responsible for the compliance of the Company with the fiscal framework stated by Romanian Regulations and of the Corporate Procedures.

 Andreea Polizu, Anti-Fraud & AML Manager

Andreea is one of the PayU seniors, being part of the PayU team right from the start, since 2004. She has 10 years experience in eCommerce and has had a huge influence on the development of the PayU platform and services.

Andreea has had the chance to fully manage the operations of one of the first ecommerce sites in Romania (Emania.ro) and brought into the company relevant information about the needs of online businesses which were later used when developing the PayU solution.

As Anti-Fraud & AML Manager, Andreea manages the Risk and Financial Operations Department, the engine of the PayU platform and is also managing risk prevention activities at PayU Group level.
